THE SHROUD OF TURIN DOCUMENTARY
Enter the investigation. Follow the evidence.
For centuries, the Shroud of Turin has stood between history, science and belief. Sworn To Secrecy brings the evidence into the courtroom — where claims are challenged, witnesses are questioned and conclusions must survive scrutiny.
What does the evidence really allow us to conclude?

THE INVESTIGATION
Archaeology, forensic evidence, historical reconstruction, image formation, physics, Biblical context and the documented history of the cloth are brought together in one courtroom-based investigation. The purpose is not to ask the viewer to accept a conclusion, but to follow the evidence and test how far it can legitimately take us.

SEASON 1 · CHAPTER 1
Where evidence meets belief.
Opening chapter. The Shroud enters the courtroom and the central question is established: what can actually be proved?
SEASON 1 · CHAPTER 2
A medieval accusation moves into evidence.
Forensic analysis, historical reconstruction and criminal suspicion sharpen the case against Geoffroi de Charny.
SEASON 1 · CHAPTER 3
Why preserve what remains officially undefined?
Carbon dating, the language of “icon” rather than relic and the modern tests not yet permitted move the Vatican to the centre of the investigation.
SEASON 2 · CHAPTER 4
At the boundary between measurement and explanation.
The court examines the Shroud’s unexplained image, its superficial coloration, three-dimensional information and what modern physics may — and may not — contribute.
SEASON 2 · CHAPTER 5
From Mount Tabor to the empty tomb.
The investigation follows questions of identity, Transfiguration, Resurrection and the continuity of the person beyond death.
SEASON 2 · CHAPTER 6
Three connected episodes move from personal continuity to the Jewish claim and finally back to the pattern of evidence before the cloth.
EPISODE 1
Recognition, physical presence and personal continuity are examined against the Resurrection accounts.
EPISODE 2
The court returns to the Jewish foundations of the Resurrection claim and tests how far modern models may legitimately take the discussion.
EPISODE 3
Prophecy, prediction and probability enter the courtroom before attention returns to the physical evidence of the Shroud itself.
SEASON 3 · CHAPTER 7
The investigation turns to the cloth itself.
The season opens by tracing the linen, its historical setting and the questions surrounding its origin.
SEASON 3 · CHAPTER 8
Royal custody — the hidden passage of power.
The investigation follows the people, institutions and historical custodians through whose hands the secret was preserved.
SEASON 3 · CHAPTER 9
The cumulative evidence reaches the identity question.
The case returns to Geoffroi de Charny, the charge of fraud and the broader question of what the evidence ultimately permits us to conclude.
SEASON 3 · CHAPTER 10
Three concluding episodes: the cumulative case, the boundary of explanation and the author's closing vision.
CHAPTER 10 · EPISODE 1
When the evidence is considered together.
The principal lines of evidence are drawn together in a single cumulative assessment.
CHAPTER 10 · EPISODE 2
Where explanation reaches its limit.
The investigation weighs what science can describe, what remains unresolved and where the boundary of explanation may lie.
CHAPTER 10 · EPISODE 3
A closing reflection beyond the courtroom.
